How
Old Is My Pet?
The
first year of a pet's life is roughly equivalent to about the first
fifteen years for a human and two pet years are equal to about twenty-four
human years. After that, each year for a pet is equivalent to four
years. This age comparision table provides general age comparasions
between dogs and humans.

Cats are considered to be entering their senior years
at age seven. The table on the left provides age comparisons.
Vaccinations
The technology used to produce vaccines has improved,
and growing evidence shows that vaccines protect our pets longer
than previously believed. With the changing vaccination protocols,
an annual wellness exam is necessary. We use this time to create
a vaccination program for your pet that is based on our geographic
region and your pet’s lifestyle and potential exposure to
disease.
Behavioral Counseling
We can provide educational information and assistance
on basic training behavioral issues. For more involved issues we
will refer you to behavior specialists or trainers in our area.
